I made extensive use of brackets my first go around writing the manuscript for my debut fantasy novel. The editing was simply going back and making changes and adding names, descriptors, or plot pieces where noted. I went through the manuscript on paper, made adjustments in my notebook, then went back and corrected them on the laptop.

Most of what I did was scrapped once I decided to rewrite the novel for an adult audience instead of the YA/Children’s (Harry Potter 1-2) style it was unintentionally written in. I didn’t see it as a waste of time because it allowed my to better my writing and editing skills.

I did intend for there to be a voiceover for the video but after the seventh re-record, I decided to just add music.
