Jean Allison is the concept author for my children’s book series. She is a representation of the matronly women I grew up around or had a helping hand in my upbringing. Jean is the embodiment of traits possessed by them. Visually I wanted her to convey a kind, nurturing, and sweet image I was fond of seeing in my childhood.
